The Loren L. Hatch Memorial Lecture in Occupational & Environmental Medicine

This lecture is given each year in honor of Loren L. Hatch DO, PhD, FAOCOPM, a founding member of the College and the division of Occupational & Environmental Medicine. He served as President of the College in 1981; he was designated a Fellow in 1985 and a Full Professor under the faculty status in 1998. Dr. Hatch was served as a member of the American Osteopathic Board of Preventive Medicine. Dr. Hatch was affiliated with the National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) where he served as an occupational medicine consultant to the Division of Technical Services. He was a prolific lecturer and author and accomplished much to advance the field of occupational & environmental medicine.  Established in 1991, this prestigious lecture is presented each year to an individual, member or nonmember, who has demonstrated a desire to see occupational & environmental medicine excel for the public good.
