Speaker Honorarium and Reimbursement Policy
- Honorarium: $400 ($595 for two lectures)
- Travel: Advance coach airfare, not to exceed $800, airport parking, transport fees to and from the airport. Speakers may opt for flight upgrades, but flight reimbursement will be limited to $800. If driving, mileage can be reimbursed at IRS rate.
- Lodging: 1 to 2 nights (depending on lecture schedule) at a rate comparable to the convention hotel.
- Food: $100 per day food reimbursement for two days for both one and two lectures. Receipts for meals are not required.
- Presentations that only last 1/2 hour: provide $250 honorarium only; no airfare, room, or food reimbursement.
- A completed and signed Reimbursement Form with receipts (except food) attached is required.
- Health Policy Fellows are not currently eligible for an honorarium or expense reimbursement.
- While presentations by co-presenters are welcome, only the primary presenter will be paid honoraria and expenses

- CV (needed for CME accreditation)
- Introductory Bio (this will go in the program app and will be used to introduce you)
- Learning Objectives, with supporting documentation (Required for CME accreditation)
- Photo (to print in the program)
- Disclosures (Required for accreditation. These will be made in the form linked below.)
- Release of information (Please be mindful of copyrights. Your presentation will be recorded so that those who cannot attend the conference in person may do so at a later date at AOA Online Learning.)
- PowerPoint (Please do not use any corporate logo, trade name, or a product-group message of commercial interest. The PowerPoint will be pre-loaded onto the podium PC before the conference begins and also used to create PDF handout links that will be made available to attendees)
- 3-5 Test Questions (provided as a courtesy to AOBPM)
Conference Dates
AOCOPM's Midyear Educational Conferences are usually in March or April, and normally in one of the southern states. The AOCOPM Annual Educational Conference is normally held in conjunction with OMED, usually in September or October. Dates and locations of conference events can be found on the CME Events page.
Topics Needed
Please refer to the AOBPM tables of specificity for general topics that AOCOPM needs regularly. You may also refer to the list of topics suggested by past conference attendees. Attendees tend to enjoy topics that are considered "current."
